PAPA ROACH: 'Lifeline' Video Available

March 6, 2009

"Lifeline", the new video from California rockers PAPA ROACH, can be viewed below. The clip was shot on February 4 with music video director Christopher Sims — who has previously worked with STAIND, LAMB OF GOD, AS I LAY DYING, BLEEDING THROUGH, NORMA JEAN and THROWDOWN — in Long Beach, California.

"Lifeline" comes off PAPA ROACH's fifth studio album, "Metamorphosis", which is scheduled for release on March 24 via DGC/Interscope Records. The CD was written at the legendary Paramour Mansion and recorded at NRG Recording Studios. The album was co-produced by Jay Baumgardener (311, EVANESCENCE, INCUBUS) and PAPA ROACH. James Michael (MÖTLEY CRÜE, SIXX: A.M.) also co-produced five tracks.

"Lifeline" is already burning up radio playlists across North America, rising quickly in the top 20 at both Active and Alternative Rock radio. To launch this song in its truest form, the band filmed "Lifeline" live during their performance at Crüe Fest 2008 in Toronto, Canada. Recorded entirely in one take, with no overdubs, the video features the power of PAPA ROACH live and shows that they are one of the few bands with the balls to share their true live sound with the world.

PAPA ROACH will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Monday, March 23 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with PAPA ROACH by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625).

PAPA ROACH is currently on the road throughout the U.S. with AVENGED SEVENFOLD, BUCKCHERRY and SAVING ABEL throughout February and March. In April the band will head over to Europe to kick off its first headlining tour in over two years.

Former PAPA ROACH drummer Dave Buckner filed a lawsuit against the band late last year, claiming that he has not been receiving his fair share of the group's earnings. PAPA ROACH permanently split with Buckner at the beginning of 2008, following a year-long period in which he went to rehab twice. He was replaced by ex-UNWRITTEN LAW drummer Tony Palermo.
